A port with a story

From Todos Santos Bay to today’s Baja.

Ensenada marks its official founding on May 15, 1882, when it became the administrative center of northern Baja California. Its port connected the region with trade along the Pacific coast. Today, the waterfront, downtown streets, nearby wine country, and local food culture offer different ways to get to know the city.

Before you go

A few useful details.

How do bookings work during beta?

Open a real property’s page and use its host’s booking link when available. Example properties are marked as demos and cannot be reserved. We do not take payments on BNB MEXICO during this phase.

Where do activity inquiries go?

Ensenada activity requests open an email to BajaTrip. Your request still needs a provider, date, availability, and final confirmation.

Are visitor details kept current?

This guide was researched on October 23, 2026. Opening times, access, seasonal facilities, and prices can change; use the venue and traveler links before visiting.
